Getting there & meeting point – frequently asked questions
Where is the meeting point for my canyoning tour?
Each gorge has its own meeting point: the Almbachklamm is in the Tennengau near Hallein, the Strubklamm between Faistenau and Tiefbrunnau, and the Gimbachkaskaden in the Almtal valley in Upper Austria. You’ll receive the exact meeting point with GPS coordinates by email or WhatsApp after booking. You’ll find all the details in the guide Getting there & meeting points.
How long does it take to get there from Salzburg?
From Salzburg it takes approx. 20–30 minutes to the Almbachklamm, 35–45 minutes to the Strubklamm and about 1 to 1.5 hours to the Gimbachkaskaden. We recommend having your own car.
