For your orientation, a non-binding summary of the key points:
- Applicable law & jurisdiction: Austrian law applies; the competent court is Ried im Innkreis.
- Payment: in cash at the end of the tour, or in advance by bank transfer.
- Cancellation: the organiser may cancel or reschedule a tour at any time if weather conditions do not allow a safe tour – at no cost to you. If you cancel 3 days before the tour, a cancellation fee of 50 % may be charged; in case of no-show, 100 % of the costs are charged.
- Liability: limited to gross negligence and intent (with the statutory exceptions for personal injury under Austrian consumer law). Tours take place in alpine terrain; the guide’s instructions must be followed at all times, and the provided safety equipment must be worn.
- Photos & videos: participants agree that photos and videos may be used by the organiser for promotional purposes.
- Participant requirements: basic swimming skills, a head for heights and basic fitness are required. The minimum age is 12 years (higher for demanding tours). Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs can be excluded; health conditions and regular medication relevant to the tour must be disclosed to the guide.
In case of any discrepancy between this summary and the German AGB, the German version prevails.
