From the gym to the rock
In this course you learn what matters when climbing on real rock: hazards at the crag, correct behaviour, belay position, belay stations, rope commands and more. Special rope techniques and knots – such as re-threading at the anchor – are also essential skills on rock.
As a prerequisite you need the lead climbing course and solid climbing experience in the gym. If you need any equipment, you're welcome to rent it from us.
Course venue & meeting point
The course takes place at the Plombergstein in St. Gilgen. The meeting point is the car park at Gasthof Mühlradl. If you're from the Ried area, you can ride along with us.

What is the cancellation policy?
The organiser may cancel or postpone the course at any time if weather conditions do not allow safe climbing. If a guest cancels on the day of the course, we reserve the right to charge the full price.
